Saint Mary's University is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It has four faculties: the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Science, the Sobey School of Business, and the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research.

An Arts degree from Saint Mary’s helps develop communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Majors to choose from include Asian Studies, Atlantic Canada Studies, Criminology, Geography, International Development Studies, Religious Studies, Women Studies as well as a broad selection of other Social Science and Humanities subjects.

The AACSB accredited Sobey School of Business is one of Canada’s most respected business schools. With a focus on real-world learning, a Business degree form Saint Mary’s helps develop entrepreneurial spirit and abilities to solve problems and think creatively. Majors include Accounting, Computing and Information Systems, Economics, Finance, General Business Studies, Global Business Management, Human Resources Management, Management, Marketing, and Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

The Science Faculty prepares students for graduate studies and a wide range of careers in Science or professional schools in Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, or Education. Science majors include Astrophysics, Biology, Computing Science, Environmental Sciences, Forensic Science, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology.

Saint Mary’s University is a modern, urban university with programs strategically focused in Arts, Business, and Science (including Engineering). The Sobey School of Business is accredited by AACSB up to the doctoral level. Saint Mary’s offers student-centered learning environment that encourages active learning, lively discussion, and opportunities for real life application of in-class studies. Small class sizes allow for direct interaction between students and faculty, and undergraduates are often included in faculty research projects.
