The Architectural & Engineering Study Tour Scholarship Program: For study/research tours providing the opportunity to refresh and update professional careers.
Requirements: Architects and engineers must have a minimum of 3 years work experience within the field. Applicants must be Norwegian citizens. Dual citizens must have five continuous years of residency in Norway.
Amount: Up to NOK 30,000.
Application procedures: There are no application forms for this scholarship. To apply, send the following materials in English to the Norway-America Association by the deadline indicated above:

statement of purpose & plan
budget for travel expenses
Invitation to attend a seminar, exhibit, etc.

Professional Development Award
Requirements: Applications are accepted from established professionals with a minimum of 3 years work experience, who intend to conduct special research or educational training for further advancement in their field.
Amount: Two awards of up to USD 5,000.

Educational Transcripts
A description of your proposed activities and how these relate to your professional goals upon your return to Norway
A budget for your stay in the U.S., including anticipated income and expenses
2 letters of recommendation from professional associates
An official invitation letter(s) from the institution(s) where you will carry out research or educational training
The application fee is NOK 250. Applicants can transfer the application fee by postgiro to Norge-Amerika Foreningen, Rådhusgaten 23B, 0158 Oslo. Postgiro nr. 7878.05.23025. Be sure to write "Professional Devel. Award" on the giro along with your name and address.
Ambassador Robert D. Stuart Jr. Fellowship
Requirements: Applicants must be Norwegian citizens under the age of 35 who are active politically and with the requisite education background (university-level degree). The program undertaken by the grantee must be in the fields of public administration, international affairs, security and defense affairs, political science or similiar fields of interest for Norway's public life.
Amount: The amount of the fellowship is decided on by the administrating organizations and is dependant on the grantee's financial need.
Application procedures: The grantee is selected jointly by the respective executive directors of the Norway-America Association and the Norwegian Atlantic Committee. Each award must receive final approval by the American Ambassador to Norway.
